Yo.
I actually intended on posting about my sister's birthday but on second thought...
Who the hell wants to know about my sisters turning 23, us going to bangsar to have dinner, drink lots of wine and karaoke elsewhere till 1.30 a.m on a school night anyway?
Nobody?
Yeah. Thought so.
Then i thought about posting a review about Transformers 2, by the way it my first time watching a movie in the Gold Class at GSC. But then I realized...
Who wants to hear spoilers about the most anticipated movie of the year and how I was served drinks and food during it's screening while I sat down watching in the comfort of my recliner chair with a blanket?
Nobody?
Wow. Surprise surprise.
So what SHOULD I talk about? Hmm... Oh ! I know ! Let's talk about that awesome event that just passed. Wait.. you mean.. ?!?!
Oh yes. SMKDJ's Interact IU Day.
*GASP* OMB !
That's right folks. On the 4th of July, Saturday, 2- 4, in the school hall, Interact had it's IU Day themed ' Turn off the violence'. And I gotta say it was a pretty smashing event. Not because I was the *ahem* emcee, but because of the performances ! speeches ! installation ! people ! game ! and er.. performances !
To be honest, it actually turned out pretty well considering how rushed it was.
Actually, it was better than what I expected. And I wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone again. Thank you to those who came for it after my super long rants on why you should go, hope you enjoyed yourselves. Thanks to the other schools who came, it was a pleasure to meet you all and I hope to see you again in future projects. Thanks to the whole SMKDJ interact club for doing their best and contributing in anyway they can, for those that didn't, thanks for the moral support(?). And if you somehow couldn't make it, or didn't want to, all I can say is...
COME NEXT YEAR.
You wouldn't want to miss out on Awesome :D.
So if you're wondering what happened on IU day and was hoping I'd tell you at the end of this post.
YOU'RE WRONG.
You didn't go, it's your problem :) . And the tickets were so freaking cheap too ! Shame on you.
Well, let's just say that the mamma mia was a thriller, haha. And to end this post, here's the time lapse video of the mural at the new Block H. A community project by the Interact Club 08/09 SMK Damansara Jaya. Do take some time to watch it. It's only 3 minutes after all.
Yeah. Beautiful. And I'm still wondering.. who IS that kind soul in the middle of the video that came to help out? Such a lovely boy indeed.
